New term!

Wow, the exam went really really well: I got 30/30 and I’m very happy with it. It looks like I had studied enough ;).
Anyway, since exams never end, today the new term start. I follow three courses: Data Structures and Algorithms 2, Operating Systems 2, Theoretical Informatics.

Important days

From tomorrow to upcoming Friday, every day will be important for me, to study for the last exam of the winter session: Algebra (Number Theory).

Exams never end. False, at least relatively

Today I gave the final of Probability and Computing with Prof. Upfal and I’m officially on holyday until…well, the 26th, because I have another exam on January 11th and discrete algebra is all but easy to study…..
At least I can sleep longer..

Playing with the shutter release and with the eyes

After some time, I took out my camera again and played with an old tripod and the macro setting.
  
 

The last one is a present from my father, a tribute to Hugo Pratt, the author of many beautiful illustrated novels (Corto Maltese and others).
Oh, by the way, I have exams today and tomorrow……

So, what’s new after more than a week?
Last Sunday I was at a motorbikers meeting near Modena. Simply great!

About the Master

I never wrote that I began my Master courses. I’m following 4 courses this trimester: Operating Systems with Prof. Giorgio Clemente, Data Bases with Prof. Girolamo Gradenigo, Elements of Algebra, with Prof. Alberto Tonolo and Probability and Computing with Prof. Eli Upfal, visiting professor from Brown University.

B.S.!!

So, I got my B.S. in Information Engineering, with a note of 100/110 which is the best I could have due to the mean of my notes (25/30). I got the maximum bonus for my thesis about Cryptography and that’s why I’m so happy.

Living in some kind of happy limbo

I’m half on holiday and half waiting for Tuesday 17th, when I’ll discuss my thesis on cryptography and graduate. Wow.

Holiday, or something similar

I finished writing my thesis and am waiting for my advisor to correct it. Graduation date is July 17th and afterwards I’ll be on holyday until October.
