When I’m on holiday I have time and will to do things I’m usually too tired/nervous/lazy to do on normal days. These include:
Go on with reading “Goedel Escher Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid” (I got it one year ago and I read only half of it ATM.)
Go for a walk downtown and take photos:
Reorder [...]
Today I gave the final of Probability and Computing with Prof. Upfal and I’m officially on holyday until…well, the 26th, because I have another exam on January 11th and discrete algebra is all but easy to study…..

After some time, I took out my camera again and played with an old tripod and the macro setting.

Oh, by the way, I have exams today and tomorrow……

On Tuesday we made our best (and our backs reserves a mention of [...]

After eight months, my main machine runs FreeBSD amd64 again, instead of FreeBSD i386. I had to run i386 due to missing bits in ndis support on amd64, but everything works now. There were some troubles finding the correct amd64 driver (.inf + .sys) for my broadcom chipset, but nothing a rapid search on google [...]
So, I got my B.S. in Information Engineering, with a note of 100/110 which is the best I could have due to the mean of my notes (25/30). I got the maximum bonus for my thesis about Cryptography and that’s why I’m so happy.
Now it’s time for some holiday: my motorbike want to make some [...]
