Holiday hobbies

When I’m on holiday I have time and will to do things I’m usually too tired/nervous/lazy to do on normal days. These include:

Go on with reading “Goedel Escher Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid” (I got it one year ago and I read only half of it ATM.)
Go for a walk downtown and take photos:

Exams never end. False, at least relatively

Today I gave the final of Probability and Computing with Prof. Upfal and I’m officially on holyday until…well, the 26th, because I have another exam on January 11th and discrete algebra is all but easy to study…..
At least I can sleep longer..

ftpd(8) + PF + ftp-proxy on the same host

Eventually I managed to make ftpd, PF and ftp-proxy work on the same machine with one network interface.
My /etc/rc.conf:

Playing with the shutter release and with the eyes

After some time, I took out my camera again and played with an old tripod and the macro setting.
  
 

The last one is a present from my father, a tribute to Hugo Pratt, the author of many beautiful illustrated novels (Corto Maltese and others).
Oh, by the way, I have exams today and tomorrow……
