I did it: I entered the books shop “La Feltrinelli” in Padova and, as if I was caught by some kind of “reader’s raptus”, I bought any book that I felt I would like to read. Many of them could/can be found in my books’ wishlist. I bought:
- Raymond Queneau, I fiori blu (trad. da Italo Calvino) (Eng: The blue flowers)
- Seneca, Lettere a Lucilio (Eng: Letters to Lucilius)
- Bertolt Brecht, The Threepenny Opera (Die Dreigroschenoper)
- Ascanio Celestini, Storie di uno scemo di guerra
I also bought four books for my friend Carlet, it was his 18th birthday and I bought:
- Goethe, The Sorrows of Young Werther
- Schopenhauer, The Art of Being Right
- Schopenhauer, The Art of Insult
- Petronius, Satyricon
