While having some rest from auditing of the RPC code (src/lib/libc/rpc/), I give you the correct recipe for making a good FreeBSD Developers Summit.
Ingredients:
- A nice and quiet place in the countryside, two hours away from Copenhagen (any other city will fit) and ten minutes away from the absolute nothing
- Bandwidth, both wireless and wired, because Attilio’s wifi card doesn’t work
- Some developers, among who:
- Some locals who understand the encrypted language
- Some Italians and a French, to cook meals
- A Norwegian with a car to drive people around
- A Core Team member, to give “authority” to the meeting
- A German, to take photos (a camera with broken lens is required)
- A Belgian, to light up the fire.
- A Croatian and a Polish to improve the technical level of the DevSummit.
- A Bulgarian female developer, to show the world we’re not misogynists
- A crazy American non-developer with a skateboard, to show the world we’re not a closed Sect
- Beer, food, whatever
Mix everything together, add salt and pepper as you like and serve cold
