We played rugby the way rugby should be played or the way we should always play it.
And we won.
We made 3 tries in 8 minutes: 0-21. And it was us the first to be shocked.
Our Fly-half (#10) Scannavacca put 7/7 balls between the H. I must admit I never consider him a good kicker, but well, he did his job today.
As always, our forwards were our gladiators, all of them: LoCicero, Castrogiovanni (we all hopes his right knee is OK), Nieto, Festuccia, all the others.
Last, but not least important for our win, Ale Troncon, our scrum-half. 34 years old next September, in the National team since 1994, 93 caps, 16 tries and the power of a lion. He’s able to excite his team mates and makes all the team working like the engine of a farm tractor: powerful and regular.
Yes, we played our rugby. And we won the proud of not getting the wooden spoon this year.
Next match is against Wales, then against Ireland. Both will take place in Rome. I believe we can aim for two victories this year.
Oh..I forgot to said that the match ended 17-37, but that’s not important, because it just reflects the good rugby we played.

Che piacere vederli giocare! Ho perso il primo tempo, ma la forza con cui hanno combattuto il secondo e la meta di Tronchi sono stati esemplari!
