Fog, rain, cold. This is November. In two words: Bad Weather.
I don’t really like this period of the year: I always feel tired, annoyed by everyone who is not me, hopeless about the future.
The Beatles said:“You’ve got to carry that weight”. But they also said:“Don’t carry the word upon your shoulders” and “We can work it out”. It seems the Fab Four hadn’t a clear idea about life. Well, life is probably the most difficult thing for men to work out. Anyway, there are times when life seems easier, when you feel like you’re riding it with online skates on your feet and a rocket engine on your back. Other times, life looks like a mountain, an high one and there’s no easy way to go beyond it than to climb it. Those times, you look like a climber, or better, like one of those mules Alpini had to carry the equipment. Like a mule, you go on, one step after the other, paying attention not to fall, and you don’t look towards the peak, only put a foot in front of the other, keeping your equilibrium or you’re gonna lose what you’re carrying. Eventually, you reach the peak, or the passage and everything seems to be easy, until the next climb at least.

I guess The Coldplay are not even comparable to the Beatles.. anyway I think they sing/say something like this:
Posted 29 Nov 2006 at 3:51 pm ¶“Tell me your secrets
And ask me your questions
go back to the start…
…Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard..”
and..luckily, it’s not that cold these days
