November

Fog, rain, cold. This is November. In two words: Bad Weather. I don’t really like this period of the year: I always feel tired, annoyed by everyone who is not me, hopeless about the future. The Beatles said:“You’ve got to carry that weight”. But they also said:“Don’t carry the word upon your shoulders” and “We [...]

FreeSBIE 2.0-RC1

All, if you followed the development of FreeSBIE 2.0 a bit, you should remember that, back in Semptember, I said that FreeSBIE 2.0 would have been the last of a series of four ISO images. Three images were already published: FreeSBIE GMV back in August, FreeSBIE LVC in October, FreeSBIE 2.0-BETA in November. Well, circustamces [...]

Warholize me!

If you know me well enough, you should know how much I like Andy Warhol. I couldn’t hold myself when I found this warholizer, and I used it to warholize me. Twice.

Moving on..

FreeSBIE 2.0 is quite ready: RC1 will be out after I’ve extended the mountdisks plugin and, if no major bugs will come out, I’ll release FreeSBIE 2.0 once the Release Notes have been written. Then I will take a rest: university will gain more priority. Anyway, I have some goals for the future and they [...]

Screenshots of FreeSBIE, screenshots of life

Another week started and, since I passed my mid-term exams so well, I don’t want to throw those results out of the window and must therefore study a lot. This was the screenshot of life. For “Screenshots of FreeSBIE”: I’ll release a FreeSBIE-2.0-RC1 ISO image before FreeSBIE-2.0. Many bugs were fixed after 2.0-BETA, but we’re [...]

An Italian section of the blog

So, I’m happy because my mind is working again. I have time again to read newspapers, book and so on. And to think about what I read, and to express my thoughts to others. But. But I think I don’t handle English well enough to share my thoughts in this language. This consideration is leading [...]

Mid-term exams’ results

I’m happy. I passed the 2 exams I studied and passed one of them (Automatic Controls Fundamentals) better than I expected (26.5/30, 20/30 expected) . OTOH, I got 23/30 in Digital Electronics but I expected something around 26/30. Electromagnetic Fields A was the third exam, the one I gave on Friday, just before leaving for [...]

FreeSBIE 2.0-BETA (EW) is available)

All, after FreeSBIE GMV and FreeSBIE LVC (2.0-PREBETA), a new ISO is available from today. This is the third of a series of four ISO images: GMV, LVC, EW, and CE, with CE being hopefully FreeSBIE 2.0. The image being release today is EW, which is FreeSBIE 2.0-BETA. The codename for this image is EW, [...]

So..EuroBSDCon..

Last day of EuroBSDCon 2006. I think the conference had a slow start but then it speeded up and is going well. I hope my fellow FreeBSD committers are enjoying it. I appreciated PHK’s report in the developers@ mailing list. If you attended it and would like to comment, feel free to send me an [...]
