I finished Giorgio Napolitano‘s political autobiography, which I started to read in July (in the meanwhile, I read other books, as Harold Pinter’s “God Bless America” and Douglas Adams’s “The restaurant at the end of the universe”).
Now, a big question comes:“What book want I read now?”; I have a book waiting for me since June: “L’impero di Cindia” (Eng: “The empire of Chindia”), about the emerging economic powers of China, India and others asiatic tigers by Federico Rampini, a well known italian journalist. But today, looking on my bookshelf I found “Al di là del fiume e tra gli alberi” (Eng: “Across the river and into the trees”) by Ernest Hemingway. Quite incredibly, I never read anything by Hemingway, don’t know why, and this book attracts me, but I’m not sure whether starting to know Hemingway from this book is good or not.
Any comment/suggestion will be much appreciated.
