None answered my question on freebsd-hackers. 
Anyway, it seems Dave and I were working on the same task (the one in the subject) without telling each other. He acutally want to achieve a, IMHO, more complex result than I do, but he’s probably more skilled than me too. While speaking about this, he gave me some suggestions about how to have my forth script working. This afternoon I’ll give it another try.
